Hen Party Activities in Cork
A daytime activity everyone in the group can actually do — organised for you, finished in time for the rest of the weekend.
The hardest part of planning a hen in Cork is usually the middle of the day: something that gets everyone together, works for a group who may not all know each other, and does not need one person managing it all afternoon. We run two activities that fit that gap — a Cork City Scavenger Hunt personalised around the bride, or a private guided cycle tour of the city. Both are led by local guides and need nothing from you but a date and a rough headcount.
Cork City based · Daytime activity · Works for mixed groups

The main event: a personalised Cork City Scavenger Hunt
This is the activity most hen groups end up choosing. Teams make their way around Cork City solving clues and taking on challenges, with everything scored and settled at the finish. It is sociable rather than sporty, and it gets people talking early in the day — which matters when the group is made up of friends, family and work colleagues who have only just met.
Built around the bride
Tell us a few things about her — where she is from, how she met her other half, the story the group never lets her forget — and we write those into the clues and challenges. It gives everyone something to work with all afternoon, and it lands far better than anything off a shelf. Nothing goes in that the organiser has not seen and signed off on, and we keep it the right side of the line.
- Approximately 2 hours
- Groups of roughly 12–50, split into smaller teams
- Walking pace, city centre start and finish
- Packages from €350
It is a walking activity at a comfortable pace, so it suits a group with a wide range of ages and fitness levels. Clues and scoring are handled live by us, so the organiser gets to take part instead of running it. It is Cork City based and easy to combine with food or drinks afterwards — where practical, the finish can be arranged around the group's onward plans.

Or see the city at a gentler pace
A private Cork City Cycle Tour is the second option worth considering, particularly for a smaller group or a morning slot. It covers the city's quays, laneways, Shandon and the riverside paths with a local guide, at a pace set by the group rather than the clock.
It is relaxed and easy-paced overall, with two short uphill sections along the way. Bikes are provided, and electric bikes are available if nobody fancies working too hard. A private tour gives you greater flexibility around dates and start times.
Private Cork Harbour Greenway Cycle Tour
A scenic, easy-paced ride from Cork City towards the harbour Greenway and Blackrock, with riverside paths, open water and a more relaxed setting.
Standard bike and electric bike private groups are booked separately.

For a more active group: a private guided hike
If the group would rather spend the day out of the city, a private guided hike can be planned around your fitness, experience and date. It is a bigger commitment than the city activities and takes up most of a day, so it suits groups who genuinely want the mountains rather than a novelty.
How organising it works
- 1. Send us the date, rough numbers and which activity you are leaning towards.
- 2. We confirm availability and, for the Scavenger Hunt, ask you for a few details about the bride.
- 3. You get a start point, a finish time and one contact number. Nothing else is needed on the day.
Numbers moving around in the final week is normal — tell us on the day and we will work with what turns up.
Tell us about the hen group
Send the date, approximate numbers and the activity you have in mind. If you are still deciding between the Scavenger Hunt and a private cycle tour, say so and we will tell you which one fits the group better.
