Clues and scoring are handled live by us, so the organiser gets to take part instead of running it. It is Cork City based and easy to combine with food or drinks afterwards — where practical, the finish can be arranged around the group's onward plans.

A private Cork City Cycle Tour is the second option worth considering, particularly for a smaller group or a morning slot. It covers the city's quays, laneways, Shandon and the riverside paths with a local guide, at a pace set by the group rather than the clock.

It is relaxed and easy-paced overall, with two short uphill sections along the way. Bikes are provided, and electric bikes are available if nobody fancies working too hard. A private tour gives you greater flexibility around dates and start times.

2. We confirm availability and, for the Scavenger Hunt, ask you for a few details about the bride.
3. You get a start point, a finish time and one contact number. Nothing else is needed on the day.

Numbers moving around in the final week is normal — tell us on the day and we will work with what turns up.
