Cookie & Privacy Settings

Cookies and similar browser storage (such as localStorage and sessionStorage) let a website remember small pieces of information in your browser. This page explains what this site uses, in plain English, and how to control it.

You can review or change your choices at any time: open your cookie settings or use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.

These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off:

• Your privacy choice. We store your cookie/privacy choice itself (btg:privacy-consent-v1 in localStorage) so we do not have to ask you on every visit.
• Session functionality. Our website framework stores scroll-restoration information in sessionStorage so pages behave normally as you navigate.

If you allow this category, the site stores campaign parameters (utm_*, gclid, fbclid) from the link you arrived on in sessionStorage (btg:campaign-params) for the length of your browser session, and forwards those values into the Rezgo booking link when you click a booking button. This tells us which of our own marketing led to a booking. The information is removed when the session ends, or immediately if you withdraw this choice.

We do not currently load any analytics or advertising scripts such as Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel or Google Ads. If we add them later, this policy and the consent choices will be updated first.

If you allow this category, pages that show reviews load the live Google Reviews widget provided by Elfsight. When enabled, your browser connects to Elfsight services, which may set their own cookies — in our testing these included elfsight_viewed_recently and the Cloudflare _cfuvid cookie on Elfsight domains.

If this category stays off, the live widget does not load and the site shows manually selected review excerpts instead where they are available. Cookies already set by Elfsight on their own domains are controlled by them; withdrawing consent here stops any further loading from our site.

The site currently requests its typefaces from Google Fonts. No Google Fonts cookie was observed in our site audit, but your browser makes a network request to Google to display the fonts. Booking links go to Rezgo and map links go to Google Maps; those services have their own cookies and privacy policies.

• Accept all — enables both optional categories.
• Reject non-essential — keeps only essential storage.
• Manage preferences — choose each optional category separately.

Rejecting optional technologies does not stop the booking, enquiry or contact pages from working. You can reopen these settings from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer at any time, and changing your mind is as easy as choosing in the first place.
