Meeting Point for Cork Tours
This is the meeting point for the Cork City Cycle Tour, Cork Harbour Greenway Cycle Tour and Private Cork City Walking Tour.
Open Meeting Point in Google MapsThe meeting point is on St Patrick’s Quay, beside the River Lee, directly across the road from 33 St Patrick’s Quay Car Park. It is roughly halfway between Mary Elmes Bridge and Brian Boru Bridge.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your tour start time.
If you are joining a cycle tour
Look for the small “Experience Cork – Explore by Bike” sign on the riverside railings. If the bikes are not there when you arrive, your guide may still be preparing them. Please wait at the sign.
If you are joining the private walking tour
Meet your guide on the riverside pavement directly across from 33 St Patrick’s Quay Car Park. The sign shown above helps identify the location, but no bikes will be waiting for the walking tour.
What to bring for a cycle tour
- Comfortable clothing suitable for cycling
- Closed shoes or trainers
- Water
- Waterproof jacket if rain is forecast
- An extra layer is useful as Irish weather can be changeable
Weather
The tour normally goes ahead in typical changeable weather, including light rain. If conditions mean the tour needs to be changed or cancelled, I will contact you directly.
